What is AutoLabFlow?

AutoLabFlow is Windows automation software for dental laboratories. It connects digital case sources to the laboratory's local organisation in order to reduce the manual work of detecting, downloading and filing cases.

Does AutoLabFlow replace my management, CAD or production software?

No. AutoLabFlow works upstream of production. It complements the existing environment instead of replacing the ERP, CAD or production software already in use.

Which dental lab software should you choose to automate case reception?

The right choice depends on the laboratory's actual workflow: the platforms in use, how folders are organised, the Windows workstations, case volume and the level of control expected. AutoLabFlow positions itself as dental automation software focused on receiving and filing digital cases.

Is there automation software for dental technicians?

Yes, but automation that is useful to a dental technician is not the same as clinical or administrative automation. AutoLabFlow targets the laboratory workflow: receiving digital impressions, downloading files, filing them locally, tracking errors and keeping traceability.

Which digital impression platforms are compatible?

Compatibility depends on the APIs, the account permissions and the mechanisms each vendor provides. A technical check is carried out based on the platforms your laboratory uses. The site deliberately avoids publishing a commercial list that could go beyond the scope actually validated.

Can AutoLabFlow prepare cases for 3Shape Dental System?

AutoLabFlow does not replace 3Shape Dental System. It can prepare a more structured order flow in order to reduce re-entry and make it easier to open cases in the 3Shape environment, where the laboratory's scope allows it.

Can AutoLabFlow download STL, PLY or PDF files?

The software can handle the formats made accessible by the source platform and its integration. The file types actually available are therefore confirmed during the workflow review.

Where are the files stored?

AutoLabFlow follows a local-first approach. Files are organised on the laboratory's Windows workstation or network, according to the configuration validated with the team.

Is my data sent to a new AutoLabFlow cloud?

The purpose of the software is precisely to work with the laboratory's local environment. Some technical exchanges with the source platforms naturally remain necessary in order to retrieve authorised cases.

What happens when a case is incomplete or ambiguous?

Exceptions must stay visible. Depending on the rules configured, the case can be flagged for review so that a member of the team makes the appropriate decision.

Can folder and file names be adapted?

Yes, filing is designed to follow the conventions that are useful to the laboratory. The exact rules are defined during configuration.

Does AutoLabFlow run on Mac?

The software is currently designed for Windows. No Mac support should be assumed without a confirmed evolution of the product.

Does the whole team have to change its habits?

The aim is the opposite: to reduce repetitive handling while keeping the working tools that matter. A short familiarisation may be needed for checks and exceptions.

How long does installation take?

The duration depends on the number of sources, the technical access available and the filing rules. A realistic estimate is given after the workflow review.

How much does AutoLabFlow cost?

Pricing depends on the scope, the platforms and the level of support. A proposal can only be relevant after a first conversation about how the laboratory works.

What should be prepared for the demonstration?

The list of platforms in use, a rough idea of the monthly volume and a simple description of the current filing system are enough. Do not send any patient data through the public form.

Is requesting a demonstration binding?

No. It is there to assess the need, check the scope that is technically credible and present how the software works.
